Yaw moment of inertia is one of the important parameters of vehicle. This parameter is necessary to record in many dynamic test reports, is required for computation of dynamic properties of vehicle and is important parameter for control algorithms of vehicle electronic systems. Measurement of mentioned parameter is not possible to realize by common measuring devices but special measurement apparature is required. The device consist of measuring stand, measuring chain and software for data acquisition and evaluation. Measurement is based on principle of torsional pendulum.
